These creepypastas were made years ago when I was very young! Because of that, they are old, terribly cliché and outdated. I keep them posted because some people still enjoy reading these. Whether you're reading these for laughs, or because you legitimately like them, I hope you enjoy!

-----

I didn't think that dork would really do it. I didn't think he would pull it off.

I guess I should start from the beginning, huh? Alright, alright.

So there were these two kids at our school, got it? One of them couldn't see, the other was a nerd who loved video games and playing with their data.

Recently the blind kid died, I'm not sure what it was, but rumor floated around the school that he got hit by a car.

So the nerd kid sends me and a few others this one email. It didn't have anything specific, just a title called "Play the game", and a list of instructions on how to play it. He sent me this "emulator" thing, which I assumed was the thing that you played this "ROM" thing on.

I normally would just delete things like this, assuming it's spam, but this kid interested me, since I was really shocked he got my email address.

I followed the instructions and started up the game. Apparently it was this one little kid's game called Pokémon SoulSilver. I kinda expected something like that. The instructions had keyboard controls for the game, too, so I scanned over them and started playing.

It didn't give me any "choose your character" thing once I got past the title screen. I just started out as what looked like a boy character. It was black everywhere except for a small light around the character. I opened the pause menu. The character's name was the same name as the blind kid. I thought it was some kind of sick joke, so I smirked at it and closed out of the menu. After blindly walking around, I found a staircase and went down it. I hoped the darkness would go away, but it didn't, so I continued wandering around. I found another person sitting at a table. She looked like she was a mom or something, and she acted like it when I spoke to her.

"Going out, dear? Your friend is waiting for you outside. You should go see him. Also, be careful out there!"

I wondered who this friend was, then decided the only way to find out was to go outside. I felt my way to the exit, and was greeted by a weird echidna-shrew like thing. A message appeared on the screen.

"He looks really happy to SEE you."

I don't know why "see" was capitalized, but it bothered me that this thing stayed without a name. I figured it would tell me later.

The echidna would follow me around wherever I went, which I found sickeningly cute. I walked out of the apparent town I was in when I was jumped by a bunch of other guys at once. They were shaded off, so I couldn't see them. There was some kind of RPG battle music that came up. A couple messages appeared on screen.

"You wanted to fight!"

"I'll protect him!"

I wasn't sure if it was referring to my character in the game or whatever.

Either way, the battle screen wasn't any better than the main world. The screen was still entirely black except for my character. I should note that his eyes were squeezed shut, too. And apparently I couldn't see the thugs ambushing me. I could see dark gray pixels on the screen. The guy definitely looked masculine, but I couldn't make out any specific features since it was just a silhouette.

Anyways, the echidna thing took my place one the battlefield. It had a health bar, apparently was male, and for some reason, lacked a name. The name was just "-----".

The game seemed to take over on its own, so I just had to watch the computer fight itself.

"You used Taunt!"

"He's getting upset..."

It did a tiny sliver of damage to my echidna.

"----- used Protect!"

"He's feeling a little better..."

The thug had an HP bar, too. It was all red, though, not like the green bar my echidna had. The bar went down.

The battle went on and on, and I started to get bored of watching it. But before I knew it, the battle was over. My echidna had just won by a nose.

"You gave up and decided to come back later."

So apparently I won the battle, and was brought back to the main world. The echidna seemed a bit bigger, with fire spewing from its head and tail. It looked at my character.

"Are you okay?"

It gave me a yes or no option, but I couldn't choose either one since the game did on its own. It chose no.

"Oh... well, you'll live, right?"

Another automatic yes or no option. It chose yes this time.

"Promise?" It automatically chose yes.

"...Good."

And with that, I was free to move around again. I decided to explore around a bit, and I notices a long road, like the kind that cars drive on. I blindly walked across it when I got cut off by a text box.

"WATCH OUT-"

The screen cut to black, and a loud thudding noise came with it, making me flinch a little, to be honest.

The next thing I heard was one of those machines at the hospital that measures your heartbeat. More textboxes came up.

"No, no, no, no, no! You promised you were going to live, so you have to-"

"...-----?"

"Y-Yes...?"

"If I don't make it... could you do one thing for me?"

"O-Of course, what is it?"

"...Teach those bullies a lesson."

The heartbeat stopped, slowly dying off.

"..........."

I was returned to the main world again. Finally, maybe I'd get some real gameplay in.

For some reason, I was playing as the echidna thing. It was even bigger than before, and it looked more like a fox or badger now. It had flames coming out from the back of its neck. I could finally see, though, so that was good. I could wander around pretty much anywhere in the town I started out in. I decided to talk to some other characters.

"You're looking for those thugs? ...They went out of the town. They've been hanging out there after school."

I was apparently looking for the thugs that ambushed me before. I admitting I wanted to know what kind of jerk would jump me while playing this. I knew it was just a game, but something told me I wanted to fight them again and teach them a lesson, so I went out of the town.

There, a bunch of masculine guys were hanging outside of town.

"Oh, hey, look at that! It's the nerd!"

The guys quickly surrounded my badger-thing.

"What do you want, punk?"

"......."

"Ha, is that right? You're going to teach us a lesson?!"

"Well, boys, school's officially in session."

Somehow, all these quotes seemed familiar to me. Especially the last one.

Of course, I was dragged into another automatic battle. I kind of wished I would get some actual gameplay, but I shrugged it off and watched.

I was challenged by this one thug. I thought it was a coincidence, but the guy's name was one of my friend's. I smirked a little, thinking of him.

"TYPHLOSION used Revenge."

"Your opponent is feeling antsy..."

"TYPHLOSION used Flash." A bright light flickered on my screen, hurting my eyes a little.

"You blinded the opponent!"

"Your opponent fainted."

This kept up for three more battles. Apparently the badger was called "Typhlosion." I was starting to get nervous, because all the thugs had the names of my friends. Soon, it got to the last battle.

This last guy had my name.

Also, the Typhlosion's name changed.

"Tyler used Revenge."

"You're feeling antsy..."

"Tyler used Flash."

The screen started flickering a bunch of bright colors, and I don't remember much after that. I apparently passed out.

When I woke up, I couldn't see at all.

After a bunch of frantic panicking and stumbling around, I told my parents.

They drove me straight to the emergency room, and the doctors said I had gone blind.

Now, you're probably wondering how I'm typing this if I can't see.

Well, one of my friends played the game as well, so when I got my parents to call him for me, he believed me when I told him what happened. I got him to come over and help me type this. He's typing every word I say right now. Also, for some reason, he wasn't affected by the lights. I guess the blindness only affects certain people. I've always had issues with flashing lights, so that explains why I went blind.

I've been needing some help around school lately because of the "accident". I know I'm getting a bunch of dirty looks, even if I can't see them.

But one thing I know for sure is that geek is grinning at me.

You want to know why?

Typhlosion was a nickname he told everyone to call him.

Tyler is his real name.

I guess he really did get his revenge, after all.

GUESS WHO'S CONTINUING TO REMAKE THEIR OLD PASTAS AGAIN?

yeah, I know, it's still a revenge pasta, but it's a good one, I swear ;w;

...anyone who chews my head off for almost completely ruining the original concept is welcome to do so

...Either way, I don't exactly have much to say about this because it's kinda short and the story moves a bit quickly

once again I'll leave it to y'all to figure out what happened

it's kinda obvious and less vague with this one though

...aaaand I'm out of things to say, so I hope you enjoy the pasta? :iconotlplz:
